1. What is Renteradar.be?
Renteradar.be is a free informational tool that compares your mortgage rate with the Belgian market rate, based on public data from the National Bank of Belgium via the ECB Data Portal. We don't store any user data. See our privacy policy for the details.
2. No advice
Renteradar.be provides informational calculations, not credit advice or brokerage. We are not registered with the FSMA as a credit broker. For an actual refinancing decision, consult your bank or an independent financial advisor.
3. No warranty of accuracy
The market rate data comes from the National Bank of Belgium via the ECB Data Portal and is provided as-is. Renteradar.be makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the figures shown. The cost calculations are estimates based on general formulas; actual costs and terms depend on your bank, your file, and your profile.
4. Limitation of liability
We do not exclude liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death, or personal injury, or for any other matter that cannot be excluded by law. For everything else, Renteradar.be is not liable, within the limits of Belgian consumer protection law, for financial decisions you make based on this tool.
5. Intellectual property
The code, design, and content of Renteradar.be are owned by Fousa BV. Copying, scraping, mirroring, or republishing the tool, in whole or in part, is not permitted without prior consent. Personal use, sharing the URL, and including a link or quotation in journalistic or educational work are of course permitted.
6. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced on the homepage and take effect on the date shown on this page. Continued use of the site after that date counts as acceptance.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes fall, within the limits of Belgian consumer protection law, under the jurisdiction of the Antwerp Enterprise Court (Ondernemingsrechtbank Antwerpen).
